We are looking for a savvy Data Engineer to join our growing team. The Data Engineer will guide our software developers on data initiatives, improve our analytics capabilities, and optimize our production systems. They must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of charting a strategic course to optimize our company’s data architecture and support our next generation of products and data initiatives.
What will you work on in your first few months?
Leverage automation and cloud platform tools to help engineering teams create and manage data storage solutions
Design and implement advanced Business Intelligence visualizations with Tableau
Contribute to the ongoing development of the Business Intelligence ecosystem via automation, integration, and the introduction of new methodologies (e.g. EMR, data science, machine learning, etc.)
Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gain a full understanding of project goals and drive iteratively toward solutions
Support production database systems including AWS RDS and MS-SQL
We’re excited to talk if you if you have:
Beginner through expert level experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or database administration
Familiarity with multiple RDBMS including MS-SQL
A strong background with Python or other scripting or programming languages
Experience with AWS cloud native services such as RDS (Aurora, MySQL, Postgres), Glue, S3, Athena
