Overview

As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll be the point-person responsible for lead generation, sales and customer development to deliver maximum value to our customers. If you can talk to potential customers everyday about our platform, we’d love for you to join the team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end sales process from first contact to contract close
  • Develop new leads through a combination of inbound/organic and outbound emailing/calling
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly revenue quotas and objectives
  • Develop understanding of our core products in order to address customer questions
  • Responsible for client relationship and retention activities – including phone calls, emails and account management
  • Onboard and assist new customers
  • Create effective messaging, marketing assets and case studies to pitch and close customers
  • Discover and evangelize new use cases for the customer, helping them to deepen and expand their usage of the product
  • Represent the company at trade shows, customer meetings and industry events
  • Consistently build, prioritize and manage an effective pipeline
  • Responsible for maintaining current opportunity details, interactions and forecasting in CRM tools
  • Develop, present and negotiate contract pricing and terms
  • Effectively create and articulate ROI in the negotiation process to bring the utmost value to both the customer and FarmlandFinder

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of inside sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree – ideally in Marketing, Business, Economics or Communications
  • Self-starter with a consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals while achieving a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Handle high call volume and email follow up in an organized and efficient manner
  • Ability to understand customer needs and tailor a structured conversation strategy
  • Metrics-driven mindset with focus on the end goal
  • Resourceful and creative problem solver, never losing sight of the “why” behind the “what”
  • An effective communicator with the ability to quickly establish rapport and build relationships
  • Willing and able to quickly learn and master new technologies
  • Well-organized and able to update customer records both diligently and accurately
  • Bonus: You have a background in agriculture, farming and/or ag real estate
