Woofables, The Gourmet Dog Bakery, seeks a well-seasoned, entrepreneurial-minded Operations Professional to support our rapid growth and expansion. 

About Us

Established in 2004, Woofables’ original intent was to bake and sell gourmet dog biscuits in the local retail store, as well as through a few smaller retail outlets. In 2010, Laura and Alex Taylor purchased the business with the intent to maintain the highest standards for quality biscuits and “best-in-show” customer service for pets and their owners, nationwide.

The brand and value proposition is to bake and sell gourmet dog biscuits using naturally healthy ingredients, from scratch, with care. With this overarching philosophy, the Taylor’s have maintained a local retail storefront, created a thriving e-commerce website, and evolved operations into a small manufacturing facility with national distribution to more than 400 active retail and commercial locations around the United States.

The business remains privately held with consistent year-over-year growth between 10-30%. With this in mind, the Taylors are hiring a capable operations professional to help them triple the size of the business in the next 5 years.  

About the Role

We seek an experienced operations professional to oversee and lead all baking production activities, inventory control, planning, and process improvement to meet the growing demand of specialized (custom) consumers, boutique retail stores, and commercial grocery sales and distribution. This person will be part of the leadership team to guide the strategic growth, and work with other critical leaders to coordinate order processing, production scheduling, decorating, packaging and fulfilment operations.

  • Direct the operational strategy and improve the operations process
  • Maintain smooth, efficient and timely production of product for resellers, web customers, retail customers.
