Theresa Payton, former White House Chief Information Officer and cybersecurity authority, was announced as the keynote speaker for the Iowa Technology Summit in Des Moines on Sept. 26, according to a news release from the Technology Association of Iowa Wednesday.
According to the release, Payton was named one of the top 25 Most Influential People in Security by Security Magazine and helps public and private sector organizations protect their most valuable resources. She is also the start of the CBS TV series “Hunted.”
“Theresa will offer a proven blueprint for Iowa technology leaders to stay a step ahead with practical steps for thinking like a hacker and managing cybersecurity risk,” TAI President Brian Waller said.
The Iowa Technology Summit brings together creators and consumers of technology from startups to Fortune 500 companies. The manufacturing, agriculture, insurance, financial services, healthcare and technology industries are represented at the summit.
