What was founded in 2009 to grow small businesses in West Des Moines, the West Des Moines Business Incubator is relaunching its business incubation program, according to a news release Monday.
According to the release, the incubator will host a re-launch celebration and ribbon cutting from 4-6 p.m. on Nov. 2 at 318 5th Street in West Des Moines.
Josef Reed—chair of the West Des Moines Business Incubator board—said, “I hope to speak for everyone when I say it’s an honor to be a small piece of such a great thing.”
Programming for the West Des Moines Business Incubator blends educational resources with coaching, collaboration opportunities and affordable office space for early businesses to grow. The incubator partnered with Gravitate—a coworking company—to manage its day-to-day business.
“We’ve enjoyed expanding our programming and love being a part of the vibrant entrepreneurial community in Valley Junction,” Gravitate founder Geoff Wood said.
