T.S Bank held its third annual “REV” Pitch Competition Friday, Dec. 1 in Council Bluffs where five companies pitched their business plan to four judges.
According to a news release Wednesday, Appsky Labs of Omaha was awarded $10,000.
Des Moines-based Flyover Design Co. won $7,000 and Des Moines-based HomeDitty won $5,000.
Fiiyo and Found Vintage—both of Omaha—were awarded $2,500.
T.S Bank hosted the pitch competition.
Dan Koenig is President of the Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce and was one of the four judges Friday night:
“The judging underscored how multi-faceted these entrepreneurs need to be to run a successful business,” Koenig said in the press release. “All of the businesses were in their own category, and with that comes unique challenges for each business owner. Those two facts combined created a fascinating dialogue in the Q&A, as well as in the final discussion for us judges.”
T.S Bank hosts the “REV” Pitch Competition as part of its mission to reinvest ten percent of its pre-tax income back into the community.
Applications will open for REV 2018 next summer.
T.S Bank has branches in Treynor, Macedonia, Atlantic, Coming and Council Bluffs.
