Insurance and technology leaders from around the globe will gather in Des Moines this week for the 2019 Global Insurance Symposium (GIS).
Set to take place April 23-25, the annual three-day symposium will provide a venue for those in the insurance industry to address and discuss issues impacting the insurance industry with a focus on technology, policy and innovation.
An InsurTech Expo will run from 3-5 pm on the first day of the event, April 23, and will lead into the GIS welcome reception.
Wednesday will start with opening remarks by Gov. Kim Reynolds followed a full day of speakers and panels. At 3:30, the ten companies in the 2019 GIA cohort will present their companies.
The symposium will wrap on Thursday with two more panels and a closing keynote by Senator Chuck Grassley.
