People from around the world gathered virtually last weekend for an online Startup Weekend. Participants gathered into teams Friday night and worked all night and all day Saturday to build startups from scratch.
On Saturday evening, seven teams presented their final pitches to a panel of judges. Each team had five minutes to pitch their ideas, followed by a three-minute Q&A with the judges.
Here are the seven teams that presented.
SourceBoxed. An e-commerce social platform that provides price comparisons and data for travelers
Influenz Me. An online platform for influencers to do “Ted Talks-styled” interviews and stories.
Amadeo. An AI and NLP-driven platform for company’s data and documentation.
Form. A “tinder for clothing” app that allows users to build an online fashion profile.
DigestMe. A mobile app that serves as a personal gut wellness companion.
Rurally. A platform that connects city leaders, individuals, and organizations to entrepreneurs in rural regions.
MetaMall. A no-code template-based virtual store builder in the metaverse.
Following the presentations, the judges announced the top three winning teams from the weekend. First place was given to Amadeo. Second Place was given to Form. And third place was given to Rurally.
